C3 CARES IS PART OF OUR ‘BEYOND’ (MISSIONS) MINISTRY AT GOD IN THE CITY, REACHING OUT BEYOND THE WALLS OF OUR CHURCH INTO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH THE LOVE OF GOD. WE HELP PEOPLE IN NEED, CRISIS OR ISOLATION, AND THROUGH THE GENEROSITY OF OUR GOD IN THE CITY MEMBERS, WE’RE ABLE TO BRING A MESSAGE OF HOPE THROUGH PRACTICAL SUPPORT.
EMERGENCY RELIEF & REFERRALS
We support families and individuals in crisis with emergency relief food hampers and, where possible, refer those needing help to relevant agencies/services.
Regular thursday lunch, CHRISTMAS LUNCH & HAMPERS
Thanks to our church’s generous giving, we host a weekly free lunch for those in need in our community, and give hundreds of Christmas gifts and food hampers to those in our local community and beyond who need to feel God’s love in a tangible way, in Christmas and throughout the year.
SYDNEY HOMELESS CONNECT
Our C3CARES Team takes part in the annual Sydney Homeless Connect Day at Sydney Town Hall, where hundreds of community service providers donate their time to connect with and assist our city’s homeless community. To find out more go to: http://www.sydneyhomelessconnect.com
